I prefer a more open style to assisting students, where I go over their work issues and try to spark a conversation through which I can get a better understanding of the students reasoning.
I currently am a senior at the University of Cincinnati studying Computer Science. Before my freshman year I was a part of the summer bridge program as a part of Emerging Ethnic Engineers through which community service plays a large pay role. Each summer during my college career I would assist the incoming summer bridge students with their studies which include a rigorous math and science curriculum. My personal favorite topic to assist with is physics. Furthermore, during the school year we would partake in math help nights where we would assist K-12 with problems they are having in their subjects.

Math is FUN and EASY!!!

My principles are 1. Engage the student as much as possible 2. Stimulate the student's interest on the subject 3. Make sure the student understands every step along the way by asking leading questions and having the student show his/her understanding. 4.
