My comments on tutoring Elementary Social Studies : Understanding the world has life long rewards. I use maps and games to make this more fun. I have traveled extensively to unusual places and show objects from these places which students have enjoyed and found inspirational.

I have taught full time in public and Catholic schools for 10 years. I taught part time as substitute, long term (months to full semesters or more), tutoring for 16years. While in college I had numerous teaching and tutoring experiences. I participated in the Multicultural Program in college and the American Indian Project.
