A Little Bit About Me...

I am a highly motivated and organized teacher with a passion for teaching students of all ages. I recently worked as a long term music substitute at Hamburg Area High school in Hamburg, Pa. There I taught beginner guitar, chorus, piano and coached the drama club. This past summer I taught remedial reading during the summer school session at Hamburg. I have tutoring experience in Reading, Math, and elementary science. As a college student, I worked as a tutor. I taught music theory, sight singing, elementary science, math, and reading. I now am a substitute teacher and am teaching a variety of subjects daily.

As a Penn State graduate, I earned a B.S. in Earth Sciences with a minor in Chemistry, assisting a paleoclimatology laboratory on campus for three years. I then enrolled at Bloomsburg University as a graduate student for a M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction, and worked as a graduate assistant. I then completed student teaching at Williamsport Area School District in a high school chemistry class and a middle school science class.
