A Little Bit About Me...

Having always been driven to achieve academic success, I received all A's throughout middle school and high school and was one of my high school valedvictorians. I then received full tuition to the University of Evansville and continued my academic success. My major required my to put in hours before and after the athletic teams practices and I have learned great time management skills as well as study skills. I tested out of all collegiate english, writing, and mathematics requirements. I have a natural ability to do well in math and science areas and enjoy writing.

I enjoy working with students of all ages, but I especially like middle school ages. All students learn in different ways, and I have used many techniques with public school students as well as with my own children. I believe everyone needs to have the skills to research and test out their ideas.
I taught learning disabled/emotionally handicapped middle school students for 7 years. I have about 3 years experience tutoring students of all ages. My degree is in Psychology, with minors in English and Religious Studies. Since graduating from Purdue in 2004, I have worked in social work, child care, and education.
