I have interned at Conner Middle School for math for a whole school year my senior year. It was a great opportunity. I gained many skills that are needed in teaching others. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching Spanish for 5 years in a variety of settings. I have taught high school Spanish and elementary Spanish, focusing on Spanish I and II. I have worked in private and public school settings. I also have experience teaching English at the Elementary level. I have been tutoring students in Spanish for 9 years now, and have worked with ages 3-22. I am comfortable tutoring individuals or groups, as well as children or even adult learners. I have lived in Spain for a year and spent a semester of that time teaching in Spanish schools.
I believe that learning a language comes from interacting with another person and focusing on developing communication skills. I LOVE teaching. I enjoy working with students and helping them see something new or understand a concept they are studying in class. Spanish and teaching are my passions. I think teaching - AND learning - should be fun, clear, concise and comprehensible.
I have taught Spanish and English in the high school setting since 1996. I have also taught ESL/ ESOL at homes, in schools, and for private organizations during that time and have had students from ages 6 - 66 from many different countries and at a variety of knowledge levels.
