A Little Bit About Me...

As a senior in high school, I elected to spend an hour of each day in the Guidance Office to assist in administrative work. One of the counselors found out I liked math and asked me if I could tutor one of her struggling students. Soon after, I became the school's unofficial math tutor and spent the time tutoring students. This experience, along with others, led me to discover my penchant for math and to the field of actuarial math. The rigorous nature of the actuary exams necessitates a masterful level of comprehension. After nearly 2 years of independent study, I passed the first exam (Probability) in November 2009. Apart from my actuarial pursuits, I have over 3 years of relevant academic experience in math and statistics.
