I teach very young beginners (under 5) via the Suzuki Violin Method. Other students are taught utilizing traditional teaching approaches, method books ranging from A Tune a Day to study books by Hrimaly, Sevcik, Shraidieck and more. They learn to incorporate their technical skills which are honed by learning scales, positions, and studies in their repertoire such as short pieces of music and student and professional concertos for the Violin.
I have taught violin lessons to students of all ages and levels for 20 + years. Letters of reference are available upon request. Mike's Guitar Studio is based on the belief that the students needs are of the utmost importance. The Studio is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals. Lessons are catered towards what the student wants to learn. There is no one method that works for each student. Each student has different ways of learning, we recognize this and apply it to our teaching policy. Since the age of 13 I have been playing bass. Since 1993 I've been a self employed bassist, audio engineer, producer and programmer. In addition to performing, I have extensive experience with computer audio/music recording and production. In that time, I have toured the world playing in several different musical styles.
