I graduated from Jefferson High School in the spring of 2012. I now attend Indiana University-Purdue University in Fort Wayne. I have two younger siblings and 4 younger step-siblings that I have helped with their homework, or helped them better understand material assigned to them. Their ages range from 8-17. I know how to explain certain subjects in multiple ways to ensure that eventually the student will understand the material. I am very patient, and I understand that some people learn at slower rates than others. I am majoring in nursing, though I considered teaching English before making this decision. Algebra II is one of my top subjects!

I am willing to work online, travel to a house, or meet at a secondary location. (i.e. Starbucks). I am very patient and will work at any pace necessary. For example, if there is an upcoming test, covering all the fields needed for that test would take priority.
I am currently a junior at Martinsville High School. Throughout my high school career I have taken multiple math courses such as algebra I, algebra ll, geometry, pre-calculus(currently enrolled), and statistics(currently enrolled). I also have experience in physics, chemistry(currently enrolled), biology, first year German, second year german(currently enrolled), etymology, U.S. history, and World history. I am currently ranked in the top 5 of my class with an unweighted GPA of 4.0. Math is by far my strongest subject but, I willing to work in the other subjects listed above.

I enjoy the process of teaching itself. I find it a very rewarding experience to introduce others to a new and somewhat unusual way of looking at things when I teach about physics or mathematics. In many ways both can be confusing and to many seem counter-intuitive. This challenge makes it satisfying when students begin to understand the concepts and see them confirmed by real life.
