I have an Associates in education and a Bachelors in Psychology. I have been a substitute teacher, site director for an afterschool program and volunteer at a daycare. I am knowledgable in different learning abilities and have experience teaching kids with special needs. I am very patient and understand that there are many different learning abilities. I started out working as a Head Start teacher's assistant and the following year I was promoted to Head Start teacher and manager. Currently I worked in a behavior school as an instructional assistant, and I have stepped in to plan curriculum and teach all the classes because the teacher has been on paid leave this year. I also have been commuting to college in Castleton State College from Springfield after work to complete my degree in education.
