As a Health Educator I taught several middle school aged students the facts about Tobacco during their health and/or science classes. I taught this 2 week course throughout Trumbull County, Ohio for over a year while working as a Health Educator for the Trumbull County Health District. This 2 week course provided facts about tobacco, products, and self-esteem strategies.

I don't think I have really developed a "unique style" by only teaching a year or so. I am a very patient person and I really like to see the "sparkle" in a students eye, when they truly understand something for the 1st time. I like to explain a concept and then give the student a problem and see if they get it. If not, I will go over as many times necessary...until they understand the material.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love teaching and interacting with today's young kids. They fascinate me. Every child has different learning systems and sometimes it takes several tries to reach that special spot that opens the child's eyes to what excites them about learning.
