If you are not willing to learn the material, I cannot help you. I will ask questions about your personal learning preferences before we begin(auditory, visual, hands-on, etc.). Lesson-planning will be made according to how you want to learn whether or not it is reinforcement or new material.
I have had a lot of past experience when it comes to tutoring. I have tutored many people of various ages from children all the way to college students, relatively. In order to learn something, take something in and understand it, one must have something already to attach it to in their minds. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe that children will learn better with their own interests in mind. While I was tutoring History, it helped the child understand the concepts of the battles of the Civil War easier when I showed a map and used plastic army men. While tutoring Math, the student understood the concepts of fractions better if I used measuring cups for simple fractions.
