I have a passion for teaching and working with students, and I am highly energetic and enthusiastic in the classroom. I have worked hard over many years to asses the needs of individual students. Firstly, I assess the learning level and learning style of the student over the first week or two. Secondly, I approach the teaching style according to those findings. Thirdly, I assess the progress of the student in relation to the teaching style and make any necessary changes in approach. I teach students to look at (analyze) the music to find similarities, likenesses and problem spots. The results are excellent in seeing that the learner remembers lessons and instruction. The learning is long lasting and even permanent.
