My teaching style meets the needs of the individual students. So, it varies depending on teh learning style and need. I have 13 years of classroom teaching experience. I have taught in various elementary setting including urban, suburban, and rural populations. I have taught in very large classrooms with 31 students in them and very small classrooms with only 3 students in them. In addition to teaching in the classroom I have also lead professional development on writing, how to disaggregate standardized assessments, student engagement, and on the reading comprehension strategies.

I have 31 years of teaching both learning disabled and cognitively disabled children. I have been trained extensively in working with youngsters who are dyslexic and dyscalculic ( math disabilities). In addition I have taught children who were on the spectrum, including those with Aspergers.
