A Little Bit About Me...

Have two years in formal Arabic study. I also studied abroad in Amman, Jordan in the fall of 2012 where I studied MSA and Colloquial Jordanian Arabic. In addition to my Arabic study, I know a great deal about Arabic Culture, History, Politics, and Society. I just graduated from Siena College this spring with a Bachelor's Degree in History, which I focused primarily on Middle Eastern History.

For the last four years I have been at Cardigan Mountain School, where I taught English, Latin, Homeric Greek, ESL, and Ancient History. My career in education includes a wide range of experience. I began as a substitute teacher covering for classroom teachers ranging from preschool to the 12th grade. My innate teaching abilities became evident and I was highly sought after. Returning to college to earn my teaching certification, I gained experience in special education teaching summer school.
