A Little Bit About Me...

My experience working as an educator for the Taylor County School District in Perry Florida has been rewarding fulfilling and incredibly enjoyable. I am an oustanding highly qualified teacher certified in elmentary education K-6. I also have been an after school tutor. I work for Vennlogic traveling and attending math conventions teaching educators how to engage and activate students.
My goal is to help students relize that they can learn. I want for students to make connections between what interests them and learning. I don't thik every student learns the same way but I do believe that every student can learn you just have to find that fire inside them and light it. A Little Bit About Me...

I earned a Bachelors degree in English from Western Michigan University in 19997. I taught at the middle school and high school levels. My experience in the classroom has prepared me for other tasks such as tutoring outside the classroom. During my years of teaching I did provide tutoring services for students through the Urban League Organization.
For as long as I can remember, I have loved working with children. I believe that every child is capable of learning when given the necessary tools and encouragement needed. I left the classroom in 2006; however, I do not want to completely give up teaching and for this reason, I think that tutoring is a great match for me.
