I have worked as a math teacher at a detention center for boys for two years. I have worked as a six grade teacher for a private school. I also have worked as a math teacher for the Altheimer Public School in which I taught such subjects as geometry, algebra, and trigonometry. I also have tutored children at my church. After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in English, I married and worked at support jobs while helping to raise our two children. Upon finding myself a single parent, I decided to return to school and pursue my passion for learning and working with children by obtaining my Masters in Special Education.
