A Little Bit About Me...

Teacher of English as a Second Language – that was my initial BA. Being a native Russian speaker, I was able to understand nuances of learning and teaching foreign languages. After three years of experience as a school teacher I was awarded a Teacher of the Year scholarship. Then I began to practice personal tutoring. MA in Directing and Acting provided me with even deeper understanding of applied psychology. I worked as a professor and tutored both college and high school students. Plus, submission of research, professional reports and numerous articles gave me an insight into paper writing. My last ten years of tutoring include English as a Second Language, Business and Professional studies, and the arts.

I find that my interactions with children, or even young adults, always involve establishing a personal, familiar connection on which we then build a relationship of mutual growth and education.
