I have the TOEFL certification which allows me to be an English teacher in Spain and an Spanish teaher in the United States I've been an English teacher at Trueba School for a group of children aged 3-10 for a semester I am from Spain so Spanish is my primary language and I am completely fluent on it, either written or spoken. I teached two students from Morocco, aged 20, spanish for a year.
I like to have a nice relationship with the students, spend time with them and base my teaching on a variety of activities, such as Homework, reading and writting but also games, theater and movies.

A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated with a degree in Physical Science Education, which gives me a strong background in Physical Sciences and in math. I have worked with children and youth of all age levels and nearly every ability. I ran an afterschool program for the Salvation Army, ran a boys home for troubled boys and worked in St. Paul City schools as a substitute teacher and a night teacher at an evening school. I also have worked six summers at a Salvation Army camp. Through these experiences I have worked with both gifted and special needs children and youth.
I believe that all children have the capability to learn if someone is willing to be patient and work with them. A Little Bit About Me...

As a pre-service teacher I hope to help change students in a positive way. I am looking forward to building a rapport with them and engaging them into trying new activities that will build their self confidence and their autonomy. Throughout my college experience I have learned the importance of becoming a model and a professional. My substituting experiences allowed me to focus on the needs of each children as an individual and how to perform teaching duties on their individual learning styles.
