A Little Bit About Me...

I have previously had three years of experience tutoring private school students in New York State. I worked with students first grade students all the way up through seventh grade students in various subject areas. I was available three nights a week to help students improve homework skills and study skills in all subject areas. My comments on tutoring Reading : I have taught Reading for thirty years in various grades from Kindergarten to sixth grade.

I have tutored in both Robeson County and Cumberland County for a total of six years. I tutored students in math, reading and science from grades Kindergarten to sixth grade. We also prepared students in grades three through six for the End of the Year test. We taught test taking strategies as well. In addition, I have tutored students that attend college in American Government and World History. I also, tutored in GA for three years. There I tutored various age groups in writing, reading, math, test strategies, and Microsoft Office. As I stated above, I am really comfortable working one-on-one with students. I feel that we can get to know each other, I can learn the way the student best learns, and where his problems lie. A Little Bit About Me...

I attended several schools to achieve my undergraduate degrees, both of which I worked hard to excel at the University level. Attending graduate school at Binghamton University truly prepared me for academia, requiring many research papers and essays as well as honing my knowledge in psychology, the arts, human development, english, and biology.
