Hi there, I have more than three years of experience in tutoring/teaching general chemistry at Humboldt State University. I started teaching supplemental chemistry courses as a sophomore and through my experiences I was able to bring the passing rate of my chemistry class from an average of 70% to 80%. I have loads of handouts and practice exams on many subjects that I have personally made in order to help students practice the subject of chemistry. During my studies I have taken many Physics and mathematics courses needed for the degree and feel comfortable with tutoring math up to Calc I and general physics. Due to some family emergencies I have been needed at home and want to keep my skills sharp and help students understand these tough subjects in an easier way. I have worked with students of all ages. I have taught elementary all the way to college level students. I have taught basic math,algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus and SAT math. I graduated from electrical engineering school. I understand what it takes to bring students up to speed. Over the years I have learned that students did not understand the subject because they did not master the basics. Math is like solving the puzzle, one has to master the previous course before moving on to the next.
