My teaching style is different for each student. I have never considered myself a student that things come easy to. I always had to find a way to relate to the material, and when I tutor that is exactly what I try to achieve with each student. Sometimes all it takes is it being explained one more time a different way. As a graduate of the top chiropractic school in the world, I have achieved a high level of education. I have a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Through out the years I have taught 5-8th graders in various subjects, as well as helped teach for a national board review company to chiropractic students all over the country in a variety of topics. I was also the editor-in-chief for the Palmer Triune, helping me obtain an excellent understanding and appreciation for the English language.

With a degree in Marketing and a year of school for mechanical engineering I have completed a number of calculus classes throughout the years. I supported myself throughout college and beyond in the Food and Beverage Service Industry and took a job in the Insurance Industry after graduating. I am now in the process of starting my own company and am looking for extra work as well. I really enjoy teaching and have aided in teaching math to young family members and to children of my friends. Being someone who likes to see the "big picture" of concepts and ideas, I struggled through math as a child, believing that I didn't understand it. I finally realized one day of the simplicity in it and actually began to enjoy solving problems one step at a time. Over the years, I have been involved in a number of different teaching and volunteer programs including Junior Achievement and 4-H. I enjoy learning new things and sharing what I've learned with others. My background includes a variety of different jobs including retail management, the military and banking. I enjoy helping others learn. Something in which I have always excelled is helping them look at learning something from another view point than they have been.
