As a graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University in General Science Physics, I have completed extensive coursework in the areas of math, science, and engineering. I am looking to obatin an accelerated teaching certificate and I believe this would be a good start for me. I have completed coursework in upper level biology and physics as well as general chemistry. I have completed math through calculus II. I have helped tutor friends’ kids on math from little school to high school. I have taken math all the way up to Differential equations and feel alright tutoring up to calculus one. I do not possess documented experience from schools or other organizations. I am a very highly motivated individual that does not mind helping others. I also have experience in teaching or helping coach little league sports educating kids on how to play games correctly. I have also been an assistant coach and helped out at Clinton Community College with girl’s softball under the head coach.
I like to teach using examples, either on a board to show a person step by step first. Then try to give the student examples to try to solve themselves. If this does not work I continue to breakdown a problem until we can clearly identify where the student is having trouble.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am currently the mother of three children, all of whom I home school. I dedicate a great deal of my time to children and advocating on their behalf. I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching from Kent State University, as well as a B.A. in accounting from Baldwin Wallace College. Currently, I am a doctoral candidate working on my dissertation in curriculum and instruction at Kent State University, while specializing in international/multicultural education.
