Special Education is one of my top subjects! I have a master's degree in Special Education and I taught special education for several years. I've taught students with numerous learning needs and I believe all students can learn.

Over the past twelve years I have taught a range of subjects including basic Math and English to students with a range of learning difficulties, including dyslexia, ADHD, and Autism. Not every method works for every child; with one exception, patience. I demonstrate and exemplify patience. If a child feels as though they are in an atmosphere where they are safe, free of ridicule and bias, then they are willing to perform. This process can be a give take scenario however. So, some flexibility is required as well, but eventually the student will become more comfortable with themselves and confident in what they are capable of.
With all of my experience and education, I have had the opportunity to work with all facets of children; from those who require a great deal of help, to those who might just need a little more challenge then what their work was providing them.
