My teaching style varies depending on the students I am teaching. It consists of lecture notes, handouts, exams and quizes and games such as Jeopardy. I believe that all students have the ability to learn and grow as individuals. It is my job as the teacher to make learning both enjoyable and educational. My main goal in education is to make a difference in the lives of the students I teach. I have been involved with education for roughly the past five years, spending 2 as a substitute teacher, 2.5 as a Middle and High School Social Studies teacher and 0.5 as an Adult Education Instructor. I hold a Master's Degree in Social Studies Education from Morehead State University and a Bachelor's Degree in History from Alice Lloyd College. Classes I have taught include United State History, World History, World Geography and Law & Justice.

I have earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, which has enabled me to enter the retail financial advisory World where a person's retirement assets are not something to be "gambled" with, since they will need their money in their later years when they can no longer work to produce income. I paid my way through college teaching driver's education at a local Christian school, and also worked as a part time Police Officer. I am a very patient person who understands that the best way to teach someone anything is to find out how they learn. My goal is to help others be confident about what they do know and to not be afraid to ask questions about what they don't know. If I can't teach someone anything, I will find someone who can. I will attempt to tutor from any angle necessary so that my student has the opportunity to be successul at their struggling subject matter. I will always be very supportive through the learning process and available anytime of the day or night for questions and immediate assistance.
