My job as an educator is to teach them how to learn it and make them want to learn it. I personally do not believe that negative reinforcement is beneficial. My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : Highly qualified k-8

For 20 years I worked for Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools, as a fifth through 7th Grade classroom teacher. I taught all of the academic subjects in various combinations, sometimes all at once to a self-contained class. The State of Tennessee recognized me as "Highly Qualified" in all subjects, from Kindergarten through 8th Grade. I served on the district's math council for 5 years, helped direct the district's science fair one year, and worked extensively in the field of arts-based curriculum development. My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : Creative writing has always been an interest of mine. I took at least three college courses over creative writing, writing poetry, and short stories.

I have experience in all things English. From the time I was in high school, I knew I wanted to focus on this subject in my studies in college. I received a BA in English and am currently earning my Masters in Secondary Education to be an English teacher. My interest in English goes beyond the classroom.
