My comments on tutoring Anatomy : I headed up study sessions for students taking this class

Over the years I have developed study skills to help students with special needs as well as help individuals with special needs on the job site. I interview a potential student to find out the best way he or she learns. I would then adapt my teaching style to their learning method.I have worked with visually impaired students who needed me to transcribe their classroom tapes into braille or who needed me to write lecture notes for them. I worked with students who were taking English as a Second Language writing up grammar lessons,participating in Bridge classes, developing study hours for conversational practices at home and using pictures to get across ideas. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated with honors from a liberal arts school with a BA in mathematics. During my time there I had also taken many science classes both biological and physical. While I was there I tutored students in math and science and ran labs for several science classes as a Laboratory Assistant. After my time there I was accepted into and began studying for a MA in mathematics at Western Michigan University where I was given an assistantship. A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of the Gwen Frostic School of Art at Western Michigan University, I was given the opportunity to create art in a recently built, state of the art facility. I started college straight out of High School in 2005 and completed my degree in just over four years. I was awarded the Art Star award for the painting program, I also received a scholarship from the school for the advancement of photography and painting. In the summer of 2009 I taught summer camps at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts teaching kindergarten through middle school.
