A Little Bit About Me...

I have enjoyed teaching children since an early age. In high school, I started my own dance studio. I also began piano lessons in my home as well. During college i studied piano, voice and dance and continued teaching in these areas. I love helping others succeed and seeing them accomplish their goals.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a highly motivated and organized teacher with a passion for teaching students of all ages. I recently worked as a long term music substitute at Hamburg Area High school in Hamburg, Pa. There I taught beginner guitar, chorus, piano and coached the drama club. This past summer I taught remedial reading during the summer school session at Hamburg. I have tutoring experience in Reading, Math, and elementary science. As a college student, I worked as a tutor. I taught music theory, sight singing, elementary science, math, and reading. I now am a substitute teacher and am teaching a variety of subjects daily.

I have been a substitute teacher for the past two years covering all grade levels from pre-k three up to senior year in high school. I am a Master's Degree candidate in Elementary Education at Wilmington University. I enjoy students at every level and am amazed at what a difference a year makes in their development. Previously, I worked as a copywriter and I spent a lot of years writing and editing. I really enjoy the one-on-one or small group approach to teaching, which is why tutoring is so appealing to me.
