From second semester freshman year I have tutored mathematics and chemistry. First it was at the campus learning center at Westminster College, then I went on to pursue a graduate degree in chemistry at Penn State University where I found that I like to teach more than I wanted to be a PhD Chemist, I was a teaching assistant for both Physical Chemistry Lab and General Chemistry for non-majors. It was this teaching experience that led me to tutor for the PSU Ag Science department in both chemistry and mathematics. I have also volunteer tutored at State College High School.
