After graduate school in the summer of 2003, I taught art at the Pathfinder Ranch in Idyllwild, CA for ten hours a day for three months with a very limited budget. My teaching style is based on building an empowering relationship between teacher and student. During my Master's program at UCLA, I was exposed to different ways of teaching and believe that students learn in a variety of ways. I am open to trying different approaches and methods with students in order to utilize the most effective means of ensuring that students are learning and retaining new information. I have earned two bachelor degrees which has given me the chance to motivate other youths and kids to seek the world and don't let it end with High school. There is more to life. Granting that Education is the key to success and without education there will be no sense of direction. I love working with kids. I believe that the kids are our future and if we adults don't help them grow up to be leaders and make better choices in their lives we will not have any sense of direction.
