I am hoping to tutor individuals in statistics. I am a graduate of Molloy College (BA) and have taken graduate courses at St Joseph's College. I have over 15 years working with and applying statistical analysis. I have college credits and formal certification in statistics. I have held positions as President and Executive Director of Health Care Facilities and also have years of Quality Assurance Engineering and management. I have taught and trained professionals in formal certification programs. I have over ten years Quality Mangement/Engineering experience and consider myself an expert in quality assurance practices.

I truly enjoy teaching. I am very easy going and I can make subjects easy to learn. Since I have an engineering background, I have the tendency to break complex problems into smaller parts. This makes it easier for the student to follow through. All my students in the past have enjoyed learning from me and I am certain that this will not change. I truly believe that anybody can learn math and science; it is a matter of time and perception. In other words, at what angle can the student learn the subject at hand and how quickly can the instructor find the student's vantage point.

With normal class size groups... the goal is to provide a lesson with real educational content but to deliver it in a totally entertaining format... usually organizing the students into groups to a) provide support for the challenged and b) excitement for the total class as each group competes against the others. one-on-one teaching requires that the objective(s) be well established and then carefully focus on the individual student's best learning method, be it: verbal, written, reading, hands-on, or all of the above.
