I have been teaching since 2005. My career began in Las Vegas, Nevada teaching 7th grade U.S. History at Sedway Middle School followed by Hyde Park Middle School (2005-2010). I have 2+ years teaching 11th grade AP and Honors U.S. History at Southwest Career and Technical Academy (2010-2012). My experience also includes teaching various social studies classes online at Beacon Academy of Nevada (2008-2011). I am currently teaching 9-12 Social Studies at Capital High School in West Columbus (2013).
My teaching style is best described as Project based and differential instructions. I do not believe that students learn the same ways and need different teaching strategies to learn. Columbus Public Schools 1987-1997: During this time period, I taught at the high school, middle school, and elementary level. I then left formal education to stay home with my children. While at home raising my daughters, I did home tutoring from 1989-2006. I then returned to teaching by doing home instruction for Bloom-Carroll (2003-2004)and Fairfield Union (2005). Simple Steps. The main key to successful learning.

To be honest I do not have any professional experience tutoring. A Little Bit About Me...

I like to work best in whatever way a child appears the most attentive wether it be visual or auditory.
Been a fulltime college student for almost two years. I was a teacher assistant when i was 16 for a fourth grade class. I love all kids amd im aspiring to be a child interpreter.
