I am an elementary school teacher in the Northern Virginia area and have been tutoring students for the past 2 years. I love my job and would not change it for the world. My comments on tutoring Pre-Algebra : Most students who never mastered their math facts begin to seriously falter at this level. I have programs to quickly and easily master these facts. Then I use an assessment to identify the concepts not mastered. Fractions, percents, and order of operations are the most common. I have many ways to teach these concepts.

I excel at identifying each students strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles. I can quickly adapt or create lessons as needed. Most of my students look forward to our time together, as we have fun, but get our work done.
I homeschooled my three daughters for 10 years, right through high school. All three have gone on to Colllege and have excelled, making the Dean's list.
