As a recent graduate from Clemson University's Calhoun Honors College, I deeply believe in the importance of education. I recently finished my BS in English Literature at Towson University in Maryland. In the years I spent at Towson, I built a portfolio to include samples of my writing. I am interested in helping others build their writing skills to communicate creatively and effectively.

Originally trained as a teacher of Drama and English, I subsequently spent many years working in the theatre, not only in educational situations but also as an actor, director and writer. I am now semi-retired, but still enjoy working as a teacher, and I currently teach animation and drama. I would welcome the opportunity to do some tutoring in language skills.
I have always found that the first and often most important thing a teacher can do is find the obstacles to learning that we all suffer from and seek ways to remove them. These may be the so called "blocks" that may develop after negative early experiences, preconceptions about the subject, or simply lack of confidence.
