I have a very fair, effective teaching style that envelopes the idea of the entire classroom as a teaching tool. Using every method to reach every child at his or her own level. When I teach, I feel I am contributing and learning at the same time, this gives me a great feeling of worth. This attitude of worth and self-respect penetrates each student and increases their desire to excel. Grades is not everything attitude, loyalty and trust. Grades improve with effort and to do that the student must choose to want that better grade. I provide the atmosphere for them to do so.

I have a bachelor degree in History with a minor in Sociology. I also took many English, Government, Geography, Literature, and Spanish classes in college. I learned grammar and puncuation skills from the many research papers and essays, as well as research skills needed for those projects. I was a long-term substitute for fifth grade social studies this spring and in addition I have substituted for 2 months.

After obtaining a Masters of Science with a Minor in Education, teaching has become my life pursuit. Even when working for a large Biotech firm, I have tutored for one year in public schools during my lunch hour. As the volunteer leader for our 500 person campus, I am proud to say I spear-pointed the adoption of our nearby high-needs school.
