Government is one of my top subjects!

I have been teaching since 2005. My career began in Las Vegas, Nevada teaching 7th grade U.S. History at Sedway Middle School followed by Hyde Park Middle School (2005-2010). I have 2+ years teaching 11th grade AP and Honors U.S. History at Southwest Career and Technical Academy (2010-2012). My experience also includes teaching various social studies classes online at Beacon Academy of Nevada (2008-2011). My teaching style is best described as Project based and differential instructions. I do not believe that students learn the same ways and need different teaching strategies to learn. While attaining my genetics degree at Ohio State, I worked at the OSU Chimpanzee Center. After graduating, I started working for the Department of Agriculture in the Weights and Measures division. It was my job to try to "trick" the scales before they could become available for commercial use. I moved back home to Coshocton when I got married.
