My comments on tutoring Typing Skills : Last I checked, my typing speed was 65 wpm. Simple games and constant practice/interaction in a world of digital communication are what it takes to get the words out of your head and into a keyboard. Almost all my tutoring help requires that the student be able to write on a keyboard, and I am always glad to help improve typing skills.
I try to approach client's problems on a case by case nature: they have a particularly hard to write paper or a class that just isn't working for them, and I will try to work closely with them to find solutions.
I will not write a client's paper or perform any creative work for them, but I will edit or provide guidance as needed. While there are no shortcuts to an A, I will share what has worked for me and others in the real world.
I'm a recent college graduate from NC State, with a degree in Creative Writing. However, the CW course instilled in me knowledge in a variety of fields from film to philosophy, and as a requirement of modern education made me more than just fluent in the language of computers. I'm a would-be author, and a writer of short stories, and have won an honorable mention in a few poetry contests.
