A Little Bit About Me...

This particular position interests me because I struggled with math through middle school and understand the frustration it can create for a student. Mathematics is now my strongest subject and I chose the profession of accounting to utilize those strengths. During my time at college, I helped other students with their studies in math and business, specifically statistics and quantitative analysis. Although this teaching experience was with college level students, I have held a summer job working with 8-12 year olds for the past four years. I can think of little else that is more rewarding that teaching. It is so wonderful to share knowledge and help another realize how powerful the willingness to learn can be - it can take you anywhere. So my enthusiasm for continuous learning drives my style which is really to take a complex concept and turn it into a real world example that the other individual can grasp.
