A Little Bit About Me...

As a humanistic educator, I have always been driven to teach in various capacities, even after qualifying as a Civil Engineer. I completed course work at the graduate level to earn my certification in North Carolina to teach mathematics and physical science. I have served deligently from the middle school level to the college level. I taught middle school mathematics and physical science for several years prior to my teaching assignment within the public high school system in both Mecklenburg and Union Counties. I have taught algebra 1 and 2, geometry, business mathematics, pre-calculus and calculus with differential equations at Independence High School and Forest Hills High School respectively. I graduated with honors from the College of Charleston (and the Honors College) with a degree in Business Administration/Finance and a minor in Pre-Actuarial studies. As part of my minor I completed Calculus I, II, III, and IV, Linear Algebra, and graduate courses in Probability and Statistics.
