Children can learn in a variety of ways. Some are more comfortable hearing instruction, others should be shown visually.... and others use a mix.Safety and security, along with comfort is critical to success. Methods utilized will vary upon the needs of the learner. The instructor must be flexible and adapt to the circumstances and needs of the child, teen or adult. Experiential learning is the best way for children to learn and retain the message. Therefore, creativity is important. A tutor may use jingles, rhymes or real life experiences as a way to help a child remember the lessons. Adult learners have their struggles too!
