A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy teaching adults as well as high school students. I do not have much training teaching below junior high; however, I am confident that I could successfully teach math or language. Although, I don't mind the traditional classroom setting, I am quite used to instructing on a one-to-one basis. Our GED programs are completely individualized for learners to move at their own pace, and I encourage this type of teaching style when manageable. At MSU, I first worked as a Supplemental Instructor and then became a Graduate Assistant (before I even earned my Bachelor's degree) in the School of Business. I also worked in the math department as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant. I have taught business, accounting and math classes at the college level when instructor was absent. Accounting is by far my strong suit, followed by Excel, Economics and Math, however I do not use high-level math often, although I got A's in everything throughout college.
