After this, I entered Mennonite Voluntary Service and directed a tutoring program in Philadelphia for two years, training high school tutors, organizing the curriculum and matching students to tutors. Following this I have had a successful career as a Buyer -- then a Senior Buyer -- for over 20 years. However, I did not leave tutoring behind.
