Genetics is one of my top subjects! I have completed the genetics course for medical school.

I have a bachelors degree in biology from Augusta State University, and I am currently a third year medical student. I have tutored biology majors and nursing students in the past with great results. I have taken the SAT, MCAT, and USMLE Step 1, so I have plenty of experince taking national examinations.
Since memorizing usually helps for short term memory, I create ways to understand and remember ideas that are easy and fun to learn. I am currently in my 4th year of medical school and completed my undergraduate education at the University of California Berkeley where I received a bachelors in both Biology and Education. I tutored both math and english during my college years. Throughout my education I have received straight A's in math up to the calculus level and am most comfortable teaching elementary, pre-algebra, algebra I and II. I spent the next year earning a Master of Science in Medical Physics degree from the same institution and I am currently a medical student at the Medical College of Georgia. My past tutoring experiences have included teaching high school and college students math, science and writing.
I approach tutoring from an adaptive stance, in that I believe each student learns best in his own, unique way.
