My teaching style is helping the student arrive at the correct solution. In problem based courses this is usually done through asking the student what they think the next step should be and guiding them through the process of problem solving. Once they start to understand problem solving then they do not only improve in the course that I am tutoring them in but in their other courses as well. In a nutshell I try to help students learn how to learn.
I tutored all through college. I have tutored one-on-one and small groups, and I have also been a TA and taught a few class periods. In addition i tutored a student in High School in several subjects. Most of my experience tutoring has been in math, physics and engineering, but I am also fluent in Spanish.

As a Purdue University grad, I have firm foundation in the following subjects: Calculus (I, II, & III), General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering--(Heat/Mass, Fluids, etc.), Physics (Mechanics and Electricity/Magnetism), Differential Equations, and Linear Algebra. I also completed a minor in Spanish and am able to read, write, and speak the language fluently. Likewise, I took both Anatomy & Physiology courses (along with Intro Bio). Every child wants to learn, although a more creative design may be needed to find a child's greatest potential. Patience, consideration, and encouraging words are simple tasks to help the self esteem of children in a child's education.
With a degree from Purdue University and continuing on to get a degree in engineering, I am engaged in many areas of science and math. Even at a young age I taught my younger sister basic mathematical and reading skills even before she entered kindergarten; we called it "school". The youngest, my brother, in which we are both diagnosed with ADHD, is amazing. I quickly learned to be patient with him when helping with his homework because I can see the same frustration on his face I had at his age when trying to concentrate on a difficult task.
