Typing Skills is one of my top subjects! Expert typist in excess of 60wpm

I graduated High School in three years and have been employed ever since. My first job was at Newark Int'l Airport in the computer room as a data entry & computer operator for a small airline service. I have continually moved up with each employer. All of my knowledge comes from hands on, on the job education. I am skilled in all facets of computer from data entry to user documentation and training. I enjoy teaching and was a trainer for almost 5 years on Database applications for Sales, Marketing & Customer Service users. I was responsible for the USA, Canada, England & France.
I prefer hands on training. I typically will create a user guide, and have the trainee follow along so that I can make sure all aspects of the program are covered

I have mentored various people since 2000, in all types of subjects, including math, science, social sciences, English, writing, literature, and other related subjects. My academic record is very strong, and I believe empowering those I work with every single time. The only pre-requisites are that you have to be willing to learn, and learn how to learn.
I like to use the Socratic method, mainly by asking questions and challenging assumptions. In addition, I like to engage those I teach, challenging them to think about what they previously have not considered. Coming from a family with no prior college education, I made it a point to not only graduate from a four-year university but to work as hard as I could to be the best at what I do. I accomplished what I have set out to do by graduating with a degree at both institutes I attended with a GPA above 3.0. I have tutored my younger brother for several years in the four major subjects. I also worked in high school as a teaching aid for a 4th grade class at Jefferson Elementary School and actually taught math and science to the class. As part of the Jefferson County High Science Club, I volunteered for different workshops for kids that showed them the wonders of science.

I hold a bachelor degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. I majored in Elementary Education for two years before I switched majors. I started a master degree program in International Relations in 2009 and decided to return to school in the fall for a master's degree in social work.
