I have been a classroom teacher and a tutor for children, teens and adults who are deaf, hearing impaired, speech/language impaired, social/emotional impaired, cognitive delay, autistic, ADHD, etc. I have also taught early childhood children from birth. Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.

I've never actually tutored someone, but I am very good at relating with younger kids and High Schoolers. I was in band from 8th grade to 12th grade where I participated in the Front Ensemble section with keyboards, vibraphones, marimbas, xylophones and various other instruments. I was in the Wind Ensemble which is the highest band class and my last year they introduced the Percussion ensemble where I was a soloist. I was also the section leader during my last year as well. I teach a bible study class at my church where I am not always given my lesson on time, so I usually do very well under pressure. I did very well in High School by graduating with honors. I taught public school for 4 years before getting a masters degree in Religious Education with a Concentration in Childhood Education. I wanted to complement my undergraduate Elementary Education degree. Therefore, I choose the childhood education concentration at seminary. Then I was a Assoicate Pastor for Children for over 13 years where I supervised paid workers and planned activities for a children's ministry at a local church. I had to maintain a budget for this ministry in the amount of $38,000. Over the course of all of these years, I have learned a vast array of skills.
