Spanish is one of my top subjects! Spanish major at Middle Tennessee State University. Only one more class needed to complete my major. Have worked as a bilingual representative for United Healthcare.

Worked as a bilingual representative for United Healthcare. Studied Spanish for a total of 5 years now and nearly have my Bachelor's degree with a major in Spanish and a minor in Portuguese. At United Healthcare I scheduled in-home health visits for members all across the country. Other colleagues would transfer a Spanish speaking member to me and I could assist them further to schedule their appointment.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love making lessons fun and interactive for children. If a children does not understand a concept one way I find other ways to explain it.
When I was in elementary school I would help my mother with daycare at our home. I would teach the children new concepts and play with them. During high school I joined the pathfinder club and taught some of the younger children. During college, I tutored elementary children in reading and in math and would make interventions for them. I graduated from Southern Adventist University December 2018 with a bachelors in elementary education. I have spent time substitute teaching in elementary classrooms, working as a behavior teachers assistant, and working at summer camps.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have loved education and the process of learning since I was a child. Due to family issues, I dropped out at in the 9th grade but due to extensive reading most of my life on many subjects, and being gifted intellectually, thank God, I was enrolled in college at the age of 16. Due to my age, I lacked the discipline needed to succeed then so joined the Army at 18 and finished first in my class in their HS program. I continued going to college in the evenings an weekends until I completed my Master's degree, meanwhile raising 3 children and running a certified home daycare.
