I have taught in First grade for the past two years. I have also taught pre kindergarten and kindergarten as well as substitute taught in grades K-6. I have a B.S in childhood education as well as a NYS Teacher Certification. I am currently working on my M.S in childhood education.

I have quite alot of experience in the filed of education. I was very driven to attain my degree and I also attained a minor in Psychology. I earned an Associates degree in Human Services, and a BS degree in the field of Special Education with a minor in Psychology. It was in the area of Special Education that I was able to broaden that degree to help a larger spectrum of children. I have currently worked at the Herkimer ARC for the past eight years. I have alot of experience working with people with disabilites from severe Mental Retardation, Cerebal Palsy,Autism, Learning Disability and Mental Heath. I have obtained a degree from Herkimer College in applied science with a minor in education. I also went to Mohawk Valley Community College for two years to obtain a degree in Nursing. I am a very caring open individual who loves to help people. I am looking for part time employment to start a college fun for my three year old daughter. I have years of experience training new employess at the Herkimer ARC.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a tutor, I owe the students in my cohort the very best! I am committed to providing our children with the very best educational quality that I can, and am constantly try to improve upon my own skills. I earned a BA in psychology from SUNY Albany, and began to pursue my Master's in Education, but felt at the time that I owed it to my own children to wait. I had the opportunity to study abroad, and gained valuable language skills. I substitute taught at all grade levels for 2 years before returning to work full time.
