I hold two degrees, a B.A. in Architecture which I achieved immediately following high school and a B.S. in Civil Engineering that I earned 20 years later. In the years between degrees I worked mainly in the construction industry providing blueprints for houses and various concrete structures. Going back to school after 20 years was difficult in that I had to re-teach myself some of the basic math (Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus) that I had forgotten because it is used to solve many advanced engineering problems.
