My teaching style is very interactive, as I believe that a student learns more quickly and retains more if he/she is actively involved. Some example tasks may include reading aloud together, reading silently followed by opportunity for comprehension through a question-answer session, and choices of writing tasks to reflect on reading. So much of it is about instilling confidence in the student that he or she is intelligent and capable of mastering the subject.
