I have a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education with emphasis on Biological Sciences and Earth Sciences. I was a teacher in the public school system for 6 years. I taught Science from grade 7 through senior level, encompassing Life Science, Earth Science, Physical Science, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Physics. I went on to Medical School, where I got my Degree in Osteopathic Medicine. During Medical School, I was a tutor at Greenbrier Community College in the areas of Math and Science. I teach by laying more emphasis upon understanding the concept of a subject matter, than to just help students complete their class assignments.I try to push my students in a way that they hone their analytical skills and motivate themselves to be problem solvers. This will help them in any career path that they wish to pursue in their near future. As a PhD student,I have been trained to look at a problem from various alternative options and in an interdisciplinary manner.
